This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Work collaboratively with fellow Financial Applications administrators, Salesforce admins, developers/engineers, and technical analysts to ensure alignment on solution design, release readiness, and shared platform standards.
• Offer strategic insights and engage in planning for CPQ and pricing/packaging roadmaps, which includes assessing tradeoffs, recognizing risks, and proposing scalable platform strategies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior administrators within Financial Applications and the broader Salesforce admin team, which includes conducting peer reviews, offering best-practice coaching, and supporting uniform configuration standards.
• Together with other CPQ Admins, spearhead the design of CPQ solutions for new pricing initiatives, collaborating with technical analysts to convert business requirements into scalable configurations.
• Manage and enhance Salesforce CPQ (product catalog, bundles, pricing, renewals/amendments) including Advanced Approvals.
• Develop and sustain scalable products and pricing/packaging models that facilitate accurate quoting and an efficient downstream order/billing experience.
• Design and execute intricate automation and calculations through Price Rules, Product Rules, Quote Calculator Plugin (QCP), and Flows to accommodate subscription pricing, proration, discounts, and multi-year scenarios.
• Craft CPQ solutions with an understanding of downstream systems and integrations (including Zuora), collaborating with integration owners to ensure compatibility with existing quote-to-cash processes.
• Along with Technical Analysts, oversee the CPQ delivery lifecycle for project-oriented work: from intake and requirements, solution design, documentation, build, unit testing, UAT coordination, deployment, to post-release support.
• Encourage disciplined delivery practices such as work intake and tracking (e.g. Jira), and dependable deployment processes for CPQ modifications (e.g. utilizing Prodly for metadata and data deployments where suitable).
• Provide daily CPQ administration and internal user assistance (triaging and resolving tickets), troubleshoot issues comprehensively, conduct root-cause analysis, and manage technical debt and platform health concerns.
• Develop and maintain CPQ documentation, effectively communicating changes to various internal teams as required.
• Act as a CPQ and quote-to-cash subject matter expert, collaborating with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Pricing, Finance, and Engineering to foster continuous improvement and scalable operating practices.
• Ensure compliance and security: managing profiles/permission sets, field-level security, audit readiness, and adhering to data handling standards.
• Over 3 years of experience in full-cycle Salesforce CPQ design and development in a production setting (from requirements gathering to deployment and support).
• More than 3 years of experience in developing on Salesforce Sales Cloud, including automation and configuration that supports sales processes.
• Profound hands-on expertise with Salesforce CPQ features such as product/bundle setup, Product Rules, Price Rules, discounting, renewals/amendments, and Advanced Approvals.
• Solid understanding of SaaS quote-to-cash processes (packaging, subscription pricing, quoting, approvals, contracting, ordering, renewals) and the implications of CPQ changes on downstream systems (e.g. Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, Workday Financials).
• Experience in building and maintaining complex automation using Flows and CPQ tools; familiarity with SOQL and the Quote Calculator Plugin (QCP) for advanced quoting logic.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and prioritization abilities, with a proven track record of balancing project-based delivery with daily maintenance and support.
• Experience in supporting and providing solutions for mid-size to large organizations (e.g. 500+ employees) and various internal stakeholder groups.
