This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead intricate pre-sales initiatives, encompassing discovery, architecture design, solution positioning, and technical validation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to IT professionals, engineers, architects, and senior executives by transforming business objectives into secure, resilient, and scalable architectures.
• Provide impactful technical demonstrations and presentations for decision-makers that effectively communicate business value, cyber risk mitigation, and operational outcomes.
• Design and manage proofs-of-concept (POCs) to technical completion, aligned with customer success criteria and operational realities.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to establish architectural strategies that promote data resilience, ransomware recovery, compliance, and hybrid-cloud adoption.
• Develop customized proposals and contribute to large-scale enterprise RFP and RFx submissions.
• Maintain a robust awareness of industry trends, emerging threats, and competitive positioning to effectively represent Veeam in business discussions.
• Work closely with sales, product management, engineering, and ecosystem partners to influence solution architecture and product strategy.
• Over 5 years of experience in pre-sales systems engineering, solutions architecture, or similar technical leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on large enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated success in guiding complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes, including discovery, solution design, POCs, and executive-level engagements.
• Strong technical expertise in data resilience, infrastructure platforms, virtualization, cloud services, networking, and security.
• Familiarity with data security, privacy, and governance, including regulatory and compliance considerations pertinent to enterprise clients.
• Foundational understanding of AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs), with the capability to explain how trusted, resilient data supports AI initiatives.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering engaging presentations to executives, senior IT leadership, and large technical or industry audiences.
• Self-driven, high-energy technologist who learns swiftly, adapts, and performs effectively in dynamic enterprise environments.
