This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• The Sr Sales Success Specialist will be aligned with specific Accounts and/or Territories, providing support for the monthly forecasting and sales transaction processes.
• Participate in forecast calls and actively assess the sales pipeline in Clari, along with relevant deal information in Salesforce, to foresee potential booking challenges or impacts on customer experience.
• Collaborate with account managers to manage and drive pipeline and revenue effectively.
• Offer leadership and work towards resolving potential deal challenges during negotiations, providing guidance on complex deal structures, and delivering solutions for non-standard requests.
• Escalate specialized issues to the appropriate partners for resolution and approval.
• Organize deal reviews with the sales team; assist in training, development, and adherence to operational policies.
• Analyze and review current customer licensing, products, and usage, partnering with account managers to identify new revenue opportunities.
• Provide routine reporting and analysis on team operations and transaction metrics.
• Share best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of support, contributing to the knowledge base by creating SOPs and training materials.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve existing systems, work processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal departments, including Deal Desk, Order Operations, Partner Support, Revenue Accounting, Finance Operations, Fulfillment (Provisioning), Legal, Customer Success, Sales, Professional Services, and Tax.
• Support end-of-month (EOM), end-of-quarter (EOQ), and end-of-year (EOY) closing processes to ensure timely business closures.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
• 5-8+ years of experience in a sales operations role, supporting a cloud/SAAS-based go-to-market organization.
• Proven critical thinking skills: ability to analyze complex deal issues, make independent decisions, and solve problems without requiring ongoing direction.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-focused communication skills.
• Capable of prioritizing workloads and demonstrating effective time management.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition rules and requirements related to software and services.
• Proficient in Salesforce Reporting.
• A demonstrated ability to build strong and positive relationships with business partners across the organization.
• Understanding of operational quote-to-cash business processes.
• Experience with contract negotiation and drafting, including legal and financial governance.
