This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Implement the business strategy and annual plan established by the department, focusing on identifying business opportunities and organizing resources to meet the annual sales and profit goals.
• Establish and sustain robust relationships with prospective customers and partners via proactive communication and regular visits to explore commercial opportunities independently.
• Continuously enhance understanding of products, applications, and markets. Share insights and knowledge with the internal team to optimize product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including technical and production units) and take responsibility for driving sales and business development initiatives in North/South America to achieve sustainable growth in the food ingredient sector.
• Work alongside customers and partners to gather market insights regarding customer needs and industry trends to support the development of market strategies for new product launches.
• Complete important temporary tasks assigned by superiors.
• Demonstrate a results-oriented approach and exhibit strong sales acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience in the food ingredients, food & beverage, sweetener, or flavor ingredient industry.
• Proven experience in key account management and channel development; outstanding negotiation and communication abilities; a high degree of autonomy and the capacity to work independently.
• Established success in fostering relationships with professionals at all organizational levels, both internally and externally; capable of understanding customer psychology and effectively applying sales techniques.
• In-depth market knowledge and insights within the Food & Beverage/Ingredients sector.
• Strong resilience under pressure and a high capacity for learning.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin (bilingual preferred).
