This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take responsibility for achieving or surpassing an established operational plan.
• Formulate and implement a commercial strategy for the sales of stability solutions in the North American data center market, including BESS (battery energy storage systems), EMS, Medium Voltage UPS, MV Switchgears, and associated systems.
• Ensure precise forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your assigned account package, reflecting this in Salesforce.com.
• Manage day-to-day relationships and offer transactional support.
• Collaborate with designated GE Vernova business sales representatives throughout the region to execute joint account strategies and finalize synergy orders.
• Create and implement a comprehensive growth strategy that integrates GE’s offerings across the region.
• Cultivate strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers, supporting the sales team’s strategic objectives, including power developers, Data Center Developers, Independent Power Producers, and co-locators.
• Drive the identification, prospecting, and development of new sales opportunities.
• Assist customers in their sales activities and support them in recognizing new opportunities.
• Coordinate efforts and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies while obtaining necessary approvals for pricing and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts as needed.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive actions, product requirements, and customer demographics.
• Collaborate with Marketing to devise project-specific sales strategies for assigned customers.
• Provide insights to the leadership team to foster ongoing growth.
• Manage expenses within the assigned budget.
• Oversee accounts in the region; responsible for nurturing relationships at all organizational levels, developing and tracking growth plans, marketing programs, and training initiatives.
• Manage, maintain, and expand accounts in the region to meet quarterly and yearly targets.
• Ensure that GE-provided leads are pursued and converted into orders.
• Uphold global compliance standards; work alongside the compliance manager to conduct due diligence activities.
• Supply market feedback, competitive intelligence, and hit-rate data to business and sales leadership.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• At least 6 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Technical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Power Developer and Utilities Markets.
• Familiarity with Data Center Markets and their portfolios.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness and ability to travel across North America 50% of the time.
