This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Management of data privacy: You will enhance the group-wide data privacy management framework, ensure its effective operation, oversee the operational data privacy activities of the Proalpha Group, coordinate the data privacy representatives across group companies, and collaborate closely with the external data protection officer.
• Data privacy processes: You will maintain the records of processing activities, assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and aid in defining, documenting, and reviewing technical and organizational measures.
• Products and projects: You will support initiatives related to software, cloud, AI, and digital transformation, integrate Privacy by Design within products and services, and provide guidance to business units on data protection requirements.
• Compliance and advisory: You will develop and sustain privacy and compliance policies, processes, and documentation, manage due diligence inquiries from clients, and support compliance obligations concerning suppliers. In matters of data protection, you will also work in partnership with the works council.
• Governance and awareness: You will track regulatory changes in data protection, determine necessary actions, conduct training and awareness initiatives, and assist with internal audits.
• A degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, Business Administration, or a similar qualification.
• Multiple years of practical experience in privacy/data protection management within a software, SaaS, or technology organization.
• Strong comprehension of the GDPR and the BDSG, along with experience in providing data protection support for software, cloud, IT, or digital transformation projects; an additional qualification as a company data protection officer or a relevant privacy certification (e.g., TÜV, GDD, or IAPP) is a plus.
• Excellent advisory skills and the capacity to convey complex requirements clearly, combined with an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Proficiency in German and good command of English for communication within an international context.
