This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for engaging with customers to secure business in the Data Centre Market, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines for objectives.
• Operates independently to achieve commercial goals while adhering to budgetary constraints and operational guidelines.
• The main focus of this role will be Sales within the Data Center vertical.
• Concentrates on Data Center projects, providing solutions related to Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Instrument Transformers, Power Quality, and Power Sensing devices.
• Acts as a Key Account Manager for the Data Centre segment, promoting business growth by overseeing key client accounts and creating new business opportunities across various states.
• This position requires a strategic thinker with robust leadership abilities and a solid understanding of the Data Centre industry.
• Responsible for developing and implementing a commercial strategy for the sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission products and services, including Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Instrument Transformers, Power Quality, and Power Sensing devices.
• Work collaboratively with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that tackle client challenges.
• Accountable for precise forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customers.
• Foster and maintain strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers, supporting the sales team's account strategies in collaboration with regional Directors.
• Drive the identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
• Assist in developing written strategies for pursuing opportunities with strategic Data Centre customer accounts.
• Provide insights on market trends, pricing, and competition to the product line marketing team.
• Conduct regular account reviews with management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited university or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• At least 10 years of direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated successful sales experience in the Data Centre industry, particularly with Electrical equipment such as Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, and Instrument Transformers.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful growth strategies.
• Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and customers.
• A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead programs and projects.
• Skills in documentation, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
