This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Develop, execute, and oversee the district business plan to achieve designated revenue and strategic goals.
• Provide direction, support, and motivation to the district sales team to reach established targets and objectives.
• Set territory quotas and fulfill the quarterly and annual sales and profit plans as assigned.
• Regularly forecast, monitor, and manage selling and other expenses for the district within the designated expense budgets.
• Consistently and accurately predict customer demand (including product quantities and dollars, orders, shipments).
• Ensure that sales personnel meet their forecasts, adhere to company guidelines/practices/policies, and receive timely development plans to address underperformance.
• Responsible for upholding Illumina’s commitment to customer satisfaction through performance, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee talent acquisition, talent development, and performance management.
• Extensive sales experience within the Life Science sector.
• Proven sales management background in the Life Science industry.
• Ability to cultivate relationships at all levels within the organization.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively influence internal and external stakeholders.
