This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Create and implement strategic leisure sales initiatives aimed at achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
• Discover and cultivate new business prospects within leisure sectors, including FIT, wholesale, consortia, and tour operators.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive information, and performance indicators to guide strategy and enhance outcomes.
• Ensure that property-specific strategies are in sync with regional and corporate commercial objectives.
• Act as a mentor and strategic ally to the on-property Director of Sales, ensuring alignment with Hyatt’s commercial goals.
• Offer coaching and support to enhance leadership skills, decision-making, and execution capabilities.
• Promote a collaborative and high-performing sales environment.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to synchronize pricing, inventory, and demand strategies for maximizing total hotel revenue.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key leisure accounts and industry stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring for the leisure segment.
• At least 7 years of progressive sales experience, ideally within the hospitality and leisure sectors.
• Proven track record in mentoring or assisting senior sales leaders (e.g., Director of Sales level).
• Strong grasp of revenue management principles and hotel distribution channels.
• Experience in preparing and supporting presentations for ownership is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
