Financial Services Representative – Investments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Focus on investments, promoting and providing a full range of investment products and services.

• Play a key role in expanding the investment portfolio by achieving personal targets and objectives each year.

• Assist in identifying business opportunities to build a profitable investment portfolio aligned with the credit union's goals.

• Proactively assess and identify the needs of members, processing requests or directing them to the appropriate service area.

• Offer needs-based guidance, advising members on financial topics such as family budgeting, credit management, and investment/retirement planning.

• Spot opportunities to drive sales and attract new members.

• Oversee the renewal process for maturing investments.

• Ensure that members receive timely notifications regarding alternative options and assist them with the renewal process.

• Build and nurture strong relationships with members by delivering exceptional service.

• Carry out additional duties as required or assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary education with a focus on business or financial planning is preferred.

• At least two years of experience in sales, service, and investment administration or sales.

• Strong member service and sales capabilities.

• Excellent organizational skills and effective time management.

• Must possess a Mutual Funds License, which should be active and in good standing.

• Openness to pursuing further educational opportunities as needed.
