Senior Sales Executive – Quantum Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at security-oriented enterprise and commercial organizations

• Discover opportunities related to quantum-safe encryption, cybersecurity resilience, and readiness for post-quantum challenges

• Establish and sustain robust relationships with CIOs, CISOs, IT leaders, and executive decision-makers

• Oversee the entire sales process: prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing

• Work collaboratively with core sales, engineering, and technical teams to customize solutions that meet customer security requirements

• Inform customers about the implications of quantum computing on cybersecurity and encryption

• Ensure precise forecasting and pipeline management utilizing CRM tools

• Represent IonQ at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience or a comparable combination of education and experience

• More than 5 years of enterprise sales experience, ideally within the cybersecurity or advanced technology sectors

• Demonstrated success in surpassing sales quotas in complex, consultative sales settings

• Strong grasp of cybersecurity concepts (encryption, threat landscapes, compliance frameworks)

• Experience in selling to large enterprises or government entities

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

• Capability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proficient in working within a matrix environment with numerous internal and external stakeholders

• Strategic mindset and a solution-oriented selling approach

• Ability to convert intricate technical concepts into business value

• Strong skills in relationship-building and stakeholder management

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
