• Oversee HIMSS's strategy for growth within the Public Sector.
• Act as the commercial leader tasked with establishing, expanding, and directing HIMSS's Public Sector operations.
• Formulate and implement the go-to-market strategy for the Public Sector segment, pinpointing new opportunities and long-term growth strategies.
• Cultivate a sustainable pipeline of new business while meeting revenue growth targets.
• Develop strategic account plans aimed at increasing HIMSS's footprint within federal, state, and local healthcare entities.
• Propel strategic sales efforts across HIMSS's array of Advisory Services, Analytics, Professional Development, Insights, and Membership offerings.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to grasp strategic priorities and digital health initiatives.
• Navigate intricate government procurement processes to successfully secure opportunities.
• Enhance existing relationships through strategic cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
• Establish trusted partnerships with executive leaders in government and health organizations.
• Represent HIMSS at conferences and events to bolster market presence and broaden business prospects.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of successful consultative sales experience with a proven track record of surpassing revenue objectives.
• Significant experience selling to U.S. Public Sector healthcare organizations is essential.
• Profound understanding of federal, state, and local government healthcare procurement processes, funding models, and purchasing environments.
• Demonstrated success in developing new markets, building strategic accounts, and generating business opportunities within complex enterprise organizations.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence C-suite leaders and senior government stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing intricate sales cycles utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Ability to operate independently while effectively collaborating across a matrixed organization.
