
Senior Sales Director – MURC, C-Store

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Spearhead the channel strategy for MURC and C-store clientele, encompassing segmentation, growth priorities, account planning, and execution.
• Oversee, educate, and assist the broker network to develop pipelines, enhance market coverage, improve execution, and achieve results.
• Set clear expectations for brokers, sales priorities, training routines, and performance rhythms that foster consistent market activation.
• Discover whitespace opportunities within regional chain and convenience store customers.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with major MURC and C-store clients.
• Manage assigned key accounts and priority markets, including strategy, customer engagement, execution, and performance delivery.
• Guide, mentor, and develop the regional sales team that supports the channel.
• Establish clear performance expectations, objectives, and development plans for direct reports.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Culinary, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to align with customer priorities and ensure disciplined execution.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on forecasts, product launches, service expectations, and resolution of issues.
• Achieve sales, margin, and volume targets for the MURC and C-store business.
• Rigorously manage forecasts, pipelines, trade-offs, and business reviews with accountability.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a focus in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in foodservice sales, including national accounts, regional chains, MURC, or convenience store sectors.
• Demonstrated success in leading customer growth strategies and managing complex account portfolios.
• Experience in managing key accounts and market-level growth while effectively balancing strategic leadership with hands-on customer engagement.
• Proven people leadership experience, including the coaching and development of high-performing teams.
• Background in guiding broker partners through training, field support, performance management, and consistent follow-up.
• Strong commercial insight across pricing, margin management, negotiation, forecasting, and business planning.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to work effectively across functions and influence stakeholders within a matrixed organization.
