This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
• Propel revenue growth through MedTech World's sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership initiatives for the US and Canadian markets, encompassing all four annual summits.
• Establish and oversee a robust pipeline of sponsors, institutional partners, hospital systems, government entities, and corporate exhibitors within the North American MedTech and HealthTech landscape.
• Independently manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and outreach to proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Craft customized commercial proposals that align sponsor and partner goals with MedTech World's event offerings.
• Act as MedTech World’s representative at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings throughout North America to enhance brand visibility and acquire leads.
• Collaborate closely with the partnerships and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive experience for sponsors and partners before, during, and after each event.
• Deliver regular pipeline updates, revenue projections, and market insights to the leadership team.
• Discover and pursue new business opportunities across the region, including health system innovation departments, venture capital funds, accelerators, trade associations, and federal and state government agencies.
• Demonstrated success in senior sales or business development roles within the events, MedTech, HealthTech, or life sciences industries.
• An extensive existing network within the US and Canadian MedTech, HealthTech, or healthcare innovation sectors that can be leveraged immediately.
• Capability to operate independently without daily supervision while being a proactive and collaborative team member.
• Proficient in managing intricate, multi-stakeholder sales processes and finalizing high-value commercial contracts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable working across various time zones and markets at the same time.
• Willingness to travel throughout North America and internationally for events and client engagements.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and a methodical approach to managing sales pipelines.
