Senior SaaS Product Designer, B2B, UX, Figma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete design process for intricate product areas, starting from research and problem identification to wireframes, prototypes, detailed UI design, and handoff to developers.

• Design and refine data-intensive interfaces and multi-step workflows, ensuring that complex information and functionalities are accessible and intuitive for professional users.

• Create and uphold high-quality, well-organized Figma files that include components, contributions to the design system, prototypes, and annotated specifications.

• Develop clear and impactful data visualization solutions that highlight significant insights from rich, layered datasets without overwhelming users.

• Work in close collaboration with product managers and engineers throughout the design and development phases, contributing to scoping, feasibility discussions, and ensuring implementation quality.

• Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and stakeholder feedback to inform design choices and validate solutions.

• Contribute to and help advance the design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality across the product.

• Advocate for user experience in cross-functional discussions, providing a clear perspective on design trade-offs and priorities.

• Engage deeply with the domain to design contextually, understanding user needs, thought processes, and what constitutes excellence in a professional mapping, planning, or spatial data environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product design, with a minimum of 4 years focused on designing B2B SaaS products within a professional, production environment.

• More than 3 years of experience in designing complex UX for data-heavy interfaces, intricate workflows, multi-step processes, or tools utilized by expert or technical users.

• At least 3 years of practical, daily Figma expertise encompassing component creation, auto layout, prototyping, design system management, and organized file structure.

• A compelling portfolio showcasing the ability to bring clarity and usability to genuinely complex product challenges, ideally in B2B or professional tool contexts.

• Comprehensive understanding of UX principles, interaction design patterns, and information architecture, particularly as applied to dense, functional interfaces.

• Comfortable navigating the entire design lifecycle, from ambiguous problem spaces to pixel-perfect delivery.

• Over 2 years of experience in designing data visualization solutions such as charts, dashboards, spatial data representations, or other visual formats that convey complex information clearly and accurately.

• Strong judgment in presenting data in ways that are meaningful, legible, and appropriate for the context and user.
