This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Skillfully designs and develops R and SQL programs for designated project(s), consistently achieving project goals.
• Clean and verify Real-World Data (RWD) to ensure accuracy and dependability.
• Execute programming based on Real-World Evidence (RWE) protocols utilizing various RWD sources, including Optum and Flatiron.
• Apply advanced statistical and epidemiological techniques to provide comprehensive and trustworthy analyses.
• Create, evaluate, and endorse programming plans at both the study and project levels.
• Exhibit advanced expertise in programming, the application of epidemiological methodologies, and concepts of the system development life cycle.
• Maintain thorough documentation of analytical programming and operational definitions to facilitate reproducible and auditable RWE studies.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to effectively convey findings.
• Collaborate with study team members to meet study timelines and regular reporting deadlines.
• MS in data science, epidemiology, statistics, public health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Real-World Data (RWD) analysis and Real-World Analytics (RWA) utilizing healthcare claims, EMR, and/or registry databases within the biopharmaceutical industry or provider/payer organizations.
• Strong practical experience with Optum and/or Flatiron data.
• Proficiency in SQL and R programming is essential.
• Experience in writing original code and conducting raw data analysis (not solely derived from clinical trials).
• Involves performing analyses and/or developing code for real-world studies.
• Knowledge of SAS and/or Python is advantageous.
• Familiarity with US and global healthcare coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, MedDRA) and healthcare delivery systems (e.g., payers and reimbursement models).
• Proficient in conducting routine and advanced statistical analyses for RWE generation, including time-to-event, cross-sectional, and longitudinal data.
• Experience with big data analytical platforms.
• Strong understanding of observational study analysis.
• Capability to work independently and contribute to scrum development goals in a dynamic, adaptable, team-focused environment.
