This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Maintain oversight of threat and opportunity trigger points for risk cost profiling, risk-budget drawdown, and the retirement of threats and opportunities.
• Utilize risk data to guide investment planning.
• Monitor overall risk exposure and the remaining risk budget.
• Collaborate with contractors to evaluate risks held by them and those held by clients that may impact them.
• Generate timely risk reports that communicate the status of threats and opportunities.
• Conduct quantitative assessments of cost and schedule risks to inform project contingency levels.
• Review, enhance, and develop risk management services for the client.
• Implement comprehensive project risk management across various projects and programs.
• Develop risk management plans and processes that align with client requirements, policies, processes, and frameworks.
• Conduct regular risk reviews, identify and analyze risks, formulate response plans, and monitor and report on project and program risk profiles.
• Oversee the delivery of comprehensive QCRA and QSRA processes.
• Integrate risk management with program and project controls, cost and schedule management, change control, and reporting.
• Collaborate with program and project control teams to eliminate redundancies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer within the risk team, project controls team, and client organization.
• Create value stream maps to quantify pain points and devise solutions that reduce waste.
• Work together on supplier performance management, performance metrics, and action plans for supplier improvement.
• Assist expert witnesses in arbitral or litigation processes.
• Lead contract and claims management during the construction phase.
• Evaluate contractual claims in accordance with the terms of the contract.
• Provide strategic and contractual advice regarding disputes and resolution issues.
• Assess delay recovery measures.
• Execute change management and cost control during the construction phase.
• Supervise the measurement and valuation of completed works and variations.
• Manage the settlement of final accounts with contractors.
• Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field in construction.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in construction project procurement and contract management.
• Proven experience in a Program Management or Program Controls environment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in risk identification, facilitation, and techniques.
• Strong skills in communication, analysis, and negotiation.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods.
• Proficient in process mapping, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and value stream mapping.
• Familiarity with web-based database tools, including ARM, Predict, and Tableau.
• Highly self-motivated, analytical, and focused on customer satisfaction.
