This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conducts risk management surveys for insurance on various moderate to complex risks, with the goal of improving policyholder risk profiles by identifying and mitigating safety hazards.
• Actively participates in the development and enhancement of technical expertise.
• Promotes, markets, and advances Company initiatives with a focus on achieving profitable growth.
• Exemplifies One Amerisure behaviors with commitment, fostering robust relationships with assigned Partners for Success® (PFS) Agencies and their clients.
• Executes risk management consultations at the premises of policyholders and formulates recommendations for risk management programs based on observations.
• Utilizes technology to facilitate virtual engagement in a hybrid work environment.
• Initiates, provides, and shares resources with policyholders and agency customers regarding risk management topics and trends.
• Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis with conclusions to enhance customer service objectives and activities, and devises plans to mitigate risk exposures across the portfolio.
• Manages workload assignments to achieve agency customer engagement activities aligning with organizational objectives.
• Collaborates with underwriting and claims for new business acquisition and account retention.
• Conducts training sessions for policyholders and agency customers.
• Participates in conference presentations as needed.
• Advocates for markets and further promotes company initiatives through relationships with their assigned agency and clients.
• Acts as an advisor on risk management issues.
• Engages in workgroups assigned to support profitability and service delivery.
• Elevates any identified trends or issues.
• Collaborates with vendors to bolster service delivery and risk improvement strategies.
• Mentors and trains other risk management consultants, and assists in onboarding new employees under leadership direction.
• Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field, with advanced certification/designation (CSP, ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU) preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience in safety, risk management, or a related industry.
• Strong proficiency with business computer applications, including MS Office products and other industry platforms.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization, and with external customers.
• Well-developed conflict resolution skills, with the capability to engage other departments.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making abilities, including the capacity to handle ambiguity.
• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to interact with internal and external customers and convey complex technical subjects effectively.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 3 overnights per month.
