Senior Risk Management Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Recognize and articulate significant risks

• Ensure alignment between disclosures and actual operations

• Measure exposure whenever feasible

• Keep comprehensive and defensible documentation

• Engage in processes for identifying risks

• Assess past incident response records

• Analyze security maturity

• Oversee documentation of controls

• Align risks with security and compliance measures

• Supervise and assess the retention of evidence

• Integrate risk management into the engineering lifecycle

• Collaborate with Security and Platform Engineering teams

• Propel operational risk quantification initiatives

• Assist in due diligence with architectural expertise

• Manage the enterprise risk framework

• Coordinate efforts with Legal, Finance, and Audit departments

• Develop a reporting structure for board-level communication

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience in risk management, compliance, or analytical positions.

• Familiarity with software development principles.

• Professional certification, such as a Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
