Senior Risk Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assess and quantify risks associated with policyholder Workers Compensation, Commercial Property, and/or Liability, and relay findings internally.

• Create methodologies for risk identification and quantification tailored to the organization’s portfolio.

• Reduce risk for small to mid-sized policyholders while fostering strong relationships with clients to enhance the performance of the assigned portfolio.

• Collaborate with internal teams to conduct research or accident investigations that support claims and underwriting efforts.

• Organize company surveys and account service strategies to pinpoint risk elements.

• Mitigate risk by initiating and executing corrective action recommendations along with comprehensive service plan implementation.

• Work alongside underwriting and claims teams to develop, draft, and present service proposals for large accounts.

• Conduct accident investigations to support claims handling and underwriting processes.

• Provide risk management services aimed at reducing risk, identifying exposures, and lowering claim expenses for clients.

• Suggest strategies to control or minimize risks based on evaluation for the customer base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Risk Management, STEM, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Safety, or a related discipline is required.

• Professional designations such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), CPE, or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) are preferred.

• A valid and current driver's license is necessary.
