This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Perform risk control inspections and property valuations as assigned.
• Generate written reports on inspections, risk management, and valuations following company guidelines, procedures, and set deadlines.
• Formulate and suggest strategies aimed at controlling and mitigating identified risks.
• Advise customers on child protection protocols and compliance audit necessities.
• Effectively communicate and interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Offer technical assistance, including training for internal teams and external clients.
• A university degree or college diploma, or equivalent experience in risk controls.
• Completion of relevant certifications such as CRM (Canadian Risk Management) and CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional).
• Technical training related to risk control, including RMS School, fire protection programs, construction, security, etc.
• At least 7 years of experience in Risk Controls, Risk Services, or Loss Prevention.
• Proficient with computer applications and eager to learn new technologies and skills.
• Comprehensive technical and engineering knowledge of risk control practices, procedures, and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships and networks both internally and externally with clients and potential clients.
• Demonstrated self-starter with the capability to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness and availability to travel within an assigned region for risk control and valuation tasks, as well as to visit relevant regional offices as necessary.
• Must possess a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance for business purposes in accordance with Ecclesiastical’s Vehicle and Mileage Policy.
