Senior Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Prepare datasets to facilitate advanced risk analysis.

• Take ownership of and continuously improve risk assessment frameworks, algorithms, and decision-making strategies.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of LLM models.

• Develop and enhance fraud prevention strategies, incorporating rule-based systems and predictive models.

• Define, monitor, and analyze critical risk and business KPIs; convert insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• Construct and sustain automated reporting and monitoring solutions to promote proactive risk management.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate risk controls into processes and customer journeys.

• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the establishment of best practices in risk analytics and modeling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree is advantageous).

• Over 4 years of experience in risk analytics, data analytics, or a comparable role within banking or fintech.

• Advanced skills in SQL and substantial hands-on experience with Python.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.

• Profound understanding of statistical analysis, risk modeling, and machine learning techniques.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

• Proven capability to identify root causes, evaluate risk implications, and propose scalable solutions.

• Fluent in English.
