Senior Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Extract relevant data from various raw files and reports to enrich internal data sets.

• Develop intricate analytical reports from internal data sets for McGriff’s service teams to enhance client and prospect engagement.

• Recognize emerging trends and analytical opportunities within extensive data sets.

• Act as a subject matter expert for inquiries related to all analytical resources, procedures, and report explanations.

• Proactively manage the internal databases through data importation and quality assurance processes.

• Assist in identifying, creating, and promoting analytical reports, including designing comprehensive visuals for client-facing presentations.

• Foster and maintain relationships with team members and various business units.

• Contribute to company projects and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Insurance; or equivalent education and relevant training.

• Three years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance.

• A valid Property and Casualty insurance license is required.

• At least one year of experience in reporting.

• Proven proficiency in computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and the ability to swiftly learn and utilize various applications.

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is necessary.

• Detail-oriented approach.

• Capability to adhere to instructions and established guidelines to perform job functions independently.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
