This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee client engagements centered on insurance, focusing on risk, compliance, internal audit, governance, internal controls, and advisory services, ensuring accountability for quality, scope, budget, staffing, and deliverables.
• Act as the main engagement leader for client relationships in Life & Health, Property & Casualty, and/or Reinsurance, fostering strong connections with executives and business leaders.
• Offer practical insights on risks within the insurance industry, regulatory changes, governance, risk management, operational efficiency, and the design and operation of internal controls.
• Lead cross-functional project teams across multiple simultaneous engagements, assisting teams in delivering timely, high-quality results that meet client expectations.
• Evaluate findings, recommendations, and deliverables to provide clear, actionable insights for clients and Firm leadership.
• Recognize client needs and service opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and support the growth of the Risk Advisory practice.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members while promoting a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certification, such as CPA, CIA, or CRMA.
• Over 7 years of experience in risk advisory, internal audit, consulting, or similar client engagements within public accounting, insurance, or advisory services.
• Extensive knowledge of Life & Health, Property & Casualty, and/or Reinsurance operations, products, regulatory frameworks, and industry risks.
• Proven experience leading internal audit, risk management, SOX compliance, governance, internal controls, and operational improvement projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex engagements, prioritize competing demands, maintain client relationships, oversee project teams, budgets, and deliverables.
• Exceptional executive communication skills, capable of presenting findings, recommendations, and solutions to senior stakeholders, boards, and C-suite audiences.
