Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct assessments of deals and contracts to ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards.

• Execute account analyses and reconciliations for revenue and deferred revenue accounts on a global scale.

• Generate journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable accounts worldwide.

• Collaborate closely with international offices as necessary to gather information required for deal analysis and account reconciliations.

• Oversee the preparation of quarterly audit schedules and create periodic reports to fulfill both internal and external reporting obligations.

• Establish and document processes and procedures as necessary, including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley regulations.

• Contribute to and engage in company-wide initiatives related to revenue accounting and the order-to-cash processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA certification is preferred.

• 3-5+ years of experience in revenue or general accounting.

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and data mining capabilities.

• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

• Experience with monthly and quarterly closing activities, account reconciliations, problem-solving, audit schedule preparation, and collaboration with external and internal auditors.

• Experience in a software company is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP is preferred.

• Experience with Business Objects is a plus.

• Proficiency in Excel is a plus.
