Senior Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the team to integrate and enhance AI and new technologies aimed at automating intricate accounting processes.

• Create automated workflows and processes to examine contracts for non-standard terms and conditions, assessing the revenue implications under ASC 606.

• Partner with the Director of Revenue Accounting and the commercial legal team to develop guidelines for acceptable non-standard deal terms.

• Execute monthly and quarterly revenue tasks in support of the financial closing process.

• Prepare a variety of quarterly and annual revenue evaluations.

• Aid in the development of revenue-related disclosures and metrics for both internal and external reporting.

• Support revenue automation initiatives, process enhancements, and AI efficiency improvements.

• Assist external auditors with quarterly revenue assessments.

• Contribute to special projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, with a CPA preferred.

• Experience with job responsibilities that include ASC 606 is mandatory.

• Advanced skills in Excel and AI tools are essential; experience with NetSuite and Aptitude/RevStream is preferred.

• Over 3 years of professional experience is required, ideally with SaaS technology experience from public accounting or industry.

• A self-starter with a strong ability to identify and resolve issues is a must.

• Possess strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.

• Highly adaptable to the evolving needs of the team and organization.
