Senior Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Record journal entries related to revenue and associated accounts, including accounts receivable, allowance for doubtful accounts, deferred revenue, and cash.

• Conduct month-end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts concerning revenue.

• Generate month-end analysis of profit and loss statements and balance sheet account discrepancies.

• Create clear and well-organized documentation and memos.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancing processes and improving efficiency in financial operations.

• Organize and manage both internal and external audits.

• Implement essential internal controls.

• Carry out ad hoc projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in an accounting position, ideally in a SaaS environment or at a public accounting firm.

• CPA or CA designation, or a clear path towards obtaining such certification is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Netsuite) along with advanced skills in Excel.

• Experience with Salesforce and/or Stripe is advantageous.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail with the capability to multitask and prioritize with little supervision.

• Commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.

• Genuine interest in and passion for the accounting profession.
