• Accountable for safeguarding, securing, and appropriately managing all confidential information held by Ascensus.
• Deliver a high standard of consultative client service while liaising and coordinating with clients and partners to resolve issues.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of retirement plans and the Ascensus business model.
• Guide and mentor colleagues in all facets of retirement planning and client relations.
• Effectively track and follow up on assigned tasks related to client issue resolution.
• Offer clients and advisors clear and precise communication regarding services, execution, and resolution throughout the service lifecycle.
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with dedicated clients and financial professionals.
• Enhance client retention by anticipating client needs and proposing necessary changes or actions.
• Evaluate client objectives, needs, and behaviors to recommend plan, product, or functionality adjustments that improve results for our clients.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of direct client experience is required, with a preference for experience in the Retirement Services industry.
• Certification or progress towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) in industry-related educational programs is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills, business etiquette, client service aptitude, and time management capabilities.
• Proven professionalism in all aspects of the role.
• Familiarity with financial services systems (e.g., recordkeeping, trust, trading), as well as experience with plan recordkeeping and trust reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel; Access and PowerPoint proficiency is preferred.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans, ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations, and plan documents (both individually designed and prototype).
• Capability to collaborate in a team environment to achieve the common goal of delivering exceptional client service.
• Ability to perform well under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
