Senior Retail Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Initiate the purchase and refinancing of home loans.

• Interact with consumers to ascertain their needs and recommend suitable products.

• Process mortgage loan applications and compile comprehensive loan packages by gathering all essential information necessary for timely loan request processing, including but not limited to credit reports, income verification, appraisals, etc.

• Evaluate the information and offer insights where relevant.

• Conduct in-person visits to real estate agents, financial advisors, and other potential referral sources to generate borrower leads.

• Maintain continuous communication with clients throughout the loan process, from application to closing.

• Stay updated on emerging trends within the mortgage industry.

• Participate in marketing and promotional initiatives to support personal sales efforts.

• Achieve individual monthly sales targets.

• Excellent professional communication abilities.

• Required origination experience in the mortgage or banking sector.

• Minimum of 2 years of origination experience.

• Active NMLS license.

• Strong understanding of product guidelines.

• Ability to connect with borrowers, possess a friendly demeanor, and be customer service-oriented.

• Capacity to work efficiently and accurately with a track record of success in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously.
