Senior Research Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee consumer survey research initiatives.

• Create surveys and experiments: formulate questionnaires, establish sampling criteria, and perform background research.

• Program surveys: develop questionnaires (experience with Qualtrics is preferred), review programs, and collaborate with programming vendors.

• Gather data: manage sampling via DIY platforms and liaise with sample vendors.

• Analyze data: categorize responses to open-ended questions, compile data (experience with R, SPSS, or other analytical software is preferred).

• Compose and review reports that succinctly outline the research methodology, main findings, and conclusions.

• Engage with clients: take part in client calls and presentations. Offer clear recommendations and insights.

• Oversee research projects: ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion, coordinate the efforts of other staff on assigned projects.

• Handle additional assigned projects and administrative responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess academic and/or professional experience in survey research, marketing, consumer psychology, and/or sensory science.

• Strong data analysis abilities, including experience with R, SPSS, or other statistical analysis tools.

• Familiarity with programming questionnaires in Qualtrics or similar survey programming software.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong writing proficiency, with experience in drafting survey reports, journalism, or other professional writing being preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail, including the capability to identify and resolve complex issues.

• Must have completed a PhD, Master’s, or MBA in marketing, business, sensory science, or a research-oriented social science, such as psychology, communications, or political science.
