Senior Research Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the transition of research design into implementation, including survey programming, field management, and quality assurance for a varied range of projects.

• Act as a client-facing team member—participate in client calls and meetings (Zoom), and assist with client communications.

• Manage all project phases (with guidance from your Account Director) for a select group of designated projects.

• Assist Account Directors in different study phases and requirements as they arise, which may encompass (but are not limited to) the following:

• - Assisting in drafting research proposals and client contracts.

• - Converting study design into a survey using our proprietary platform.

• - Programming online surveys within our proprietary platform.

• - Ensuring high-quality fieldwork in collaboration with our network of sample providers.

• - Processing and tabulating survey data.

• - Cleaning and balancing survey data.

• - Designing tables and report deliverables with the client's objectives in mind.

• - Keeping projects on schedule to meet client deadlines.

• - Participating in client calls, meetings, and/or presentations (virtually via Zoom).

• - Managing supplier relationships.

• - Collaborating with our Tech Team to enhance, refine, and develop the capabilities of the Glass platform, as well as improve the respondent and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Psychology, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in quantitative market research (at least 1 year on the supplier side is preferred), with additional experience in qualitative methods being a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (primarily PowerPoint and Excel).

• Skilled in Google Suite applications (Gmail, Drive).

• Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Experience with survey programming platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Alchemer).

• Familiarity with general AI platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini).

• Experience with research-related AI platforms is a bonus.

• Familiarity with SPSS, R, Q, and/or Displayr is an advantage.

• Experience in advanced analytics is a plus.

• Capability to work from home or a co-working space that ensures focused, productive work during business hours and provides a professional environment for daily client video calls.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
