Senior Research Analyst, Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in advancing the Company's research agenda to enhance empirical insights into law school accessibility, affordability, academic performance, bar success, and the overall value of legal education.

• Support the administration and assessment of the LexScholars Pre-Law and Post-Baccalaureate law school pathway initiatives.

• Implement qualitative and quantitative evaluation techniques.

• Create engaging and easily understandable tables and graphical representations of statistical data.

• Organize, structure, and sanitize data to facilitate research and policy analysis.

• Provide guidance and support to colleagues and external partners in research design and data analysis.

• Present findings to policy makers and practitioners through concise briefs, white papers, and reports, employing clear writing and graphical modeling.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in education, statistics, economics, sociology, political science, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar position; OR a Graduate degree coupled with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in R Studio, STATA, or another statistical software.

• Experience in composing and delivering research reports; capability to independently draft sections of technical reports.

• Strong skills in evaluation, mathematics, and analytical thinking.

• Familiarity with evaluation methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, gained through experience or academic coursework.
