This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Produce innovative, thought-provoking, and essential “must-have insights” content tailored for High Tech CSCOs.
• Generate fresh insights and concepts through thought leadership, providing compelling and actionable strategies that enhance the client’s capacity to act on their needs and requests.
• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover the root causes of a client’s challenges or overarching needs and reframe discussions to propel strategy forward.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts.
• Deliver provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can shape the direction of a research agenda.
• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and shifts within High Tech supply chains to furnish clients and vendors with actionable insights.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable advice relevant to their designated content area through virtual or in-person interactions.
• Create and present high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings, both on and off stage.
• Support sales efforts by representing the voice of High Tech CSCOs, assisting Insights teams in generating relevant High Tech content, and driving client engagement to advance their critical priorities for business growth.
• Provide high-quality and timely peer reviews of content.
• Establish credibility as a High Tech industry expert to represent Gartner insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions while collaborating effectively with peers within the Insights community.
• Identify enhancements to research processes or develop new methodologies that enable the team and BTI to deliver exceptional service.
• Serve as a mentor and coach, supporting junior team members.
• Maintain a client-centric approach, proactively facilitating regular engagement between clients and Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of pertinent field or industry experience.
• Experience in High Tech Supply Chain Leadership: Leadership experience in supply chain across at least one, ideally multiple, industry segments—including consumer devices, semiconductor, telecom, and Hyperscaler.
• Expertise in Supply Chain Strategy and Transformation: Proven experience in defining, leading, and executing comprehensive supply chain transformations on a global scale in High Tech.
• End-to-End Supply Chain Perspective: Practitioner or leadership experience across various supply chain domains, either through direct roles or by spearheading initiatives that successfully drive change across multiple supply chain functions.
• Established ability to foresee industry trends and emerging disruptions, challenge traditional thinking, and convert forward-looking insights into persuasive viewpoints for senior leaders.
• Exhibit executive presence; capable of quickly establishing credibility with executives and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills; adept at working under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.
• Demonstrate exceptional research and writing capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills; skilled in engaging clients and effectively addressing inquiries.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; able to effectively apply patterns and frameworks while deriving and defending conclusions to client challenges.
• Excellent communication skills - able to articulate complex concepts clearly and simply.
• Subject matter expertise; comfortable speaking at both large and small-scale engagements.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area as well as the interactions in that market.
• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global setting.
• Quick to learn and adept at navigating highly matrixed environments.
• Ability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
