
Senior Rendering Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Designs, develops, writes, tests, and implements systems and game code, focusing on rendering pipelines, tools, and shaders.
• Collaborates with designers, artists, and other team members involved in the development process to produce the highest quality product possible.
• Assists in developing technical design specifications and is capable of implementing them.
• Tests and refines rendering features and optimizations throughout the project's development cycle.
• Estimates personal tasks and consistently delivers high-quality code according to that schedule.
• Mentors the coding team, sharing experience and expertise while leading by example.
• Conducts code reviews with the team to ensure the quality of the code.
• Proficient in C/C++ with at least 4 years of experience.
• Skilled in various graphics APIs (e.g., DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL, Metal) and shader languages.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the video game industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in console programming.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal.
• Has contributed to at least one shipped game.
• Helpful but not mandatory:
• Familiarity with industry-standard development practices, including source control, asset pipelines, issue tracking, external QA, and localization teams.
• Exposure to post-launch ongoing product development and delivery.
• Experience with continuous integration and build automation.
• Worked within an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with art packages and pipeline development.
• Experience with low-level optimization, shader programming, physics, or mathematics.
• Understanding of cloud server and network backend systems.
