Senior Release Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Drive the advancement of the Enterprise Release Management process.

• Create standardized governance, release calendars, and best practices throughout Enterprise Systems.

• Coordinate intricate cross-functional releases with Business Owners, Team Leads, ERP Consultants, Architects, Project & Delivery Managers, delivery teams, QA teams, and external partners.

• Facilitate Go/No-Go decisions effectively.

• Manage dependencies, risks, approvals, and implementation planning.

• Ensure stakeholders have visibility into release readiness.

• Implement standards, templates, and documentation in Jira and Confluence.

• Continuously enhance release maturity, reliability, standardization, and coordination.

• Support the adoption of future automation and modern release methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Release Management, IT Delivery, Service Management, or Project Management within complex Enterprise Systems environments.

• Proven experience in coordinating releases across ERP platforms such as D365 F&O, AX, SAP, or similar.

• Knowledge of cross-system dependencies without direct ownership of the technical deployment.

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and structured release governance.

• Capability to align business and technology stakeholders around shared release objectives.

• Proficient in creating structure, challenging existing practices, and fostering collaborative relationships.
