Senior Release Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the advancement of the Enterprise Release Management process

• Develop standardized governance, release schedules, and best practices throughout Enterprise Systems

• Manage intricate cross-functional releases involving business, technical, delivery, QA, and external stakeholders

• Facilitate Go/No-Go decisions while managing dependencies, risks, approvals, and implementation planning

• Ensure stakeholder transparency during release preparation and execution

• Implement standards, templates, and documentation within Jira and Confluence

• Drive continuous improvement in release maturity, reliability, standardization, and coordination

• Assist in the adoption of future automation and modern release methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Release Management, IT Delivery, Service Management, or Project Management

• Proven experience in complex Enterprise Systems environments

• Background in coordinating releases across ERP platforms such as D365 F&O, AX, SAP, or similar

• Knowledge of managing cross-system dependencies without being responsible for technical deployment

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence

• Experience with structured release governance

• Ability to align business and technology stakeholders around shared release objectives
