Senior Release Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Drive the advancement of the Enterprise Release Management framework.

• Implement standardized governance, release schedules, and best practices throughout Enterprise Systems.

• Oversee intricate cross-functional releases in collaboration with Business Owners, Team Leads, ERP Consultants, Architects, Project & Delivery Managers, delivery teams, QA teams, and external partners.

• Facilitate decisions regarding Go/No-Go status.

• Manage dependencies, risks, approvals, and planning for implementation.

• Ensure that stakeholders maintain visibility throughout the release process.

• Introduce standards, templates, and documentation within Jira and Confluence.

• Continuously enhance the maturity, reliability, standardization, and coordination of releases.

• Support the development of future automation and contemporary release methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Release Management, IT Delivery, Service Management, or Project Management within complex Enterprise Systems environments.

• Proven experience in coordinating releases across ERP platforms such as D365 F&O, AX, SAP, or similar systems.

• Capability to manage inter-system dependencies without direct ownership of technical deployments.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

• Understanding of structured release governance.

• Proficiency in aligning business and technology stakeholders toward shared release objectives.
