Senior Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of intricate application releases at HealthEdge.

• Act as a strategic collaborator with cross-functional teams, guiding the release strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

• Mentor junior team members while promoting the ongoing enhancement of release management frameworks.

• Manage the comprehensive planning and execution of highly complex, multi-team release cycles.

• Provide updates on release status, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

• Develop and advocate for release management processes and standards, including change control protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in release coordination, release management, or a closely related field within a software development organization.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred; however, an associate's degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience is required.

• Proven history of managing complex, multi-product or multi-team release cycles with a significant level of autonomy.

• Advanced skills in release management and project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Experience with release automation frameworks, CI/CD pipeline concepts, and integration tools in a SaaS or enterprise software setting.

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and release branching strategies.

• Strong grasp of change control frameworks, risk management principles, and operational readiness criteria.
