Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform and Terraform Cloud.

• Oversee Azure networking components, including VNets, subnets, Private Endpoints, DNS zones, and NSGs.

• Administer Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Manage processes related to container build, deployment, and release.

• Implement solutions for monitoring and observability.

• Assist in incident analysis and root-cause investigations.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams.

• Foster an automation-first and DevOps culture among engineering teams.

• Engage in technical discovery, proof-of-concepts, and architectural discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of commercial experience.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including: AKS, ACR, App Services, Key Vault, Front Door, Application Gateway, and Storage Accounts.

• Proficient in VNets, Private Endpoints, DNS, NSGs, Load Balancing, and Subnets.

• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Practical experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production settings.

• Familiarity with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).

• Experience with Docker and managing container lifecycles.

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms (Datadog, Azure Application Insights, or similar).

• Proficient in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python).

• Experience in cloud security, identity, and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.

• Familiarity with Git and contemporary software delivery practices (e.g., GitOps, trunk-based development, DevSecOps).

• Understanding of computer networks.

• Professional-level English proficiency (minimum C1).
