Senior Regional Sales Manager – Midwest

📋 Description

• Develop and implement quarterly business strategies that meet procedure sales and disposable sales revenue goals within the designated geographical area.

• Maintain a comprehensive, regularly updated strategic business plan for the territory, assisting the Account Manager team in creating, managing, and executing their own detailed business plans.

• Achieve growth and meet sales objectives by effectively overseeing the Account Manager and Clinical Specialist Team.

• Create and execute a strategic business plan aimed at expanding the company’s customer base and ensuring a strong presence within the RSM Team’s area.

• Responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and monitoring the performance of all direct reports, including Account Managers and Clinical Specialists.

• Establish and nurture strong, enduring customer relationships by collaborating with the Account Manager and Clinical Specialist teams, while understanding the needs of both parties.

• Present sales, revenue, and expense reports along with realistic forecasts to the National Sales Director and Sales Management team.

• Communicate effectively and share sales achievements and successful strategies within the Area, as well as with RSM peers, the National Sales Director, and Business Unit Leader.

• Collaborate with the Area’s Field Sales Territory Manager counterparts to carry out essential strategic sales activities that optimize all Monarch capital system sales and procedure sales.

• Support Account Managers in conducting technical and clinical demonstrations of products to facilitate sales and the adoption of Monarch technologies.

• Implement key referral education initiatives that contribute to increased procedure sales.

• Oversee post-sales installation, implementation, and adoption protocols in conjunction with the sales and service teams to meet targeted business objectives.

• Aid new customers in clinically adopting Monarch technologies.

• Work with customers to ensure they meet their clinical and economic goals with the new technology, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction and increasing utilization rates.

• Must develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of all Monarch products, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry trends and formulating strategies to stay ahead of competitors.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree along with 4 years of experience in Medical Device or related sales management or leadership is required.

• Proven ability to learn and convey technical product information and clinical knowledge of disease states to both physicians and economic buyers is essential.

• Must possess the ability to travel extensively, up to 75%, including overnight travel within the assigned territory.

• Required to work in a hospital or ASC setting, attending live patient cases as necessary and wearing appropriate protective gear (e.g., lead aprons, masks, etc.).

• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and is a problem-solver capable of critical thinking in high-pressure situations.

• Collaborates well with the team and frequently shares key sales strategies and learnings with sales management and peers.

• Open to constructive feedback and able to work effectively within a matrix team environment.

• Proven ability to articulate customer needs and feedback to the organization as required.

• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while effectively prioritizing them.

• Ability to communicate frequently and at a high level with sales management and the broader organization.

• Capability to operate in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
