Senior Regional Medical Director, MSL Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain peer-to-peer scientific connections with key opinion leaders, investigators, and multidisciplinary care teams.

• Implement regional medical engagement initiatives that align with the Global Medical Affairs strategy.

• Represent Solid at scientific congresses, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and various external platforms.

• Deliver scientific education and facilitate discussions regarding Solid’s research and development initiatives.

• Collect insights to guide protocol formulation, endpoint selection, and strategic development.

• Assist in preparing for future launches by acquiring a thorough understanding of regional care pathways and treatment landscapes.

• Capture, analyze, and convey actionable medical insights.

• Identify opportunities for generating real-world evidence, conducting natural history collaborations, and supporting investigator-sponsored research.

• Aid in scientific communication and publication objectives through stakeholder engagement.

• Contribute to the establishment of Solid’s U.S. field medical organization.

• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of prospective MSL team members.

• Establish optimal practices for scientific engagement and insight collection.

• Transition into regional leadership roles as the MSL organization grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP)

• Over 10 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, clinical settings, or academia

• Experience in rare diseases, neuromuscular diseases, genetics, or gene therapy is preferred

• Proven track record in KOL engagement and scientific discourse

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
