Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer clinical oversight and guidance for provider teams, including psychiatric nurse practitioners and therapists.

• Create and implement evidence-based treatment protocols while assessing their impact on patient outcomes and financial sustainability.

• Establish and manage quality assurance measures to guarantee compliance with clinical best practices, safety regulations, and legal requirements.

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship for psychiatric nurse practitioners, conducting case reviews and facilitating direct patient care.

• Direct the clinical strategy and vision for women's reproductive mental health services.

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to influence the strategic direction of FamilyWell by contributing clinical expertise that fosters the development and expansion of innovative service offerings and clinical programs.

• Examine data and clinical outcomes to derive insights for clinical practice and to present thought leadership both internally and externally.

• Remain updated with emerging research and incorporate new findings into clinical practices.

• Engage in product development and initiatives focused on clinical innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized medical institution.

• Board certification in Psychiatry.

• Advanced training in reproductive psychiatry.

• At least 3 years of clinical experience specifically in reproductive psychiatry.

• Current medical license in good standing (multi-state licensing preferred).

• Capability and willingness to work virtually with patients across various states, including obtaining additional state licenses as necessary to serve our patient population.
