This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Lead, provide strategic guidance, and oversee day-to-day operations of a team of 6 MSLs.
β’ Maintain a strong presence in the field as the primary MSL for a designated small territory.
β’ Ensure the team is sufficiently staffed, well-trained, and has clear expectations.
β’ Implement all MSL activities, ensuring high-quality scientific interactions with external experts.
β’ Actively connect with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the area.
β’ Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer coaching based on observations in the field.
β’ Oversee the MSL team's performance to ensure alignment with Brand and Medical strategies.
β’ An advanced degree in health sciences or a clinical discipline is mandatory.
β’ A doctorate-level degree is preferred (e.g., Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD).
β’ At least 5 years of experience in clinical, scientific/research, or the pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent experience.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MSL.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape and the Medical Affairs role.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in both local language and English preferred.
β’ Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects concurrently.
β’ Proven capability to collaborate effectively across functions.
β’ Experience in managing and resolving complex personnel issues.
β’ Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 50β60%).
