This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ We are looking for a physician to take on the role of Medical Director, responsible for overseeing global Phase 3 clinical trials and Biologic Licensing Application (BLA) submissions.
β’ The selected candidate will primarily focus on developing and implementing comprehensive clinical trial programs, including protocol design and medical oversight for both new and ongoing studies.
β’ He/she will be tasked with obtaining scientific advisory input, collaborating with biostatisticians for Phase 3 design and analyses, supporting regulatory interactions for product advancement, and working closely with clinical operations to provide medical guidance and decision-making to achieve operational excellence.
β’ The ideal candidate must demonstrate effective collaborative skills to engage across various phases of clinical development and act as a key medical expert for multiple cross-functional teams.
β’ Engaging with investigators, including travel to facilitate face-to-face interactions and protocol training, is an essential aspect of this role.
β’ Board certified or eligible MD with experience in hematology/oncology product development across various stages of clinical development.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biologics, or biotech research and development environment, or in a research setting focused on the collection and analysis of human data in the hematology/oncology field.
β’ Proficient understanding of clinical development pathways for hematology/oncology therapeutics in the United States and European Medicines Agency (EMA).
β’ A self-starter who proactively pursues key initiatives without prompting, capable of performing a wide range of tasks to support the clinical development program, possessing a highly entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams on meaningful missions.
β’ Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience level, certifications, and specific work location. Variations may occur in different locations due to labor cost differences. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonuses, stock options, benefits, and/or other applicable variable compensation.
