Senior Regional Access & Contracting Partner – South Germany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for executing our Market Access strategy at a regional level.

• Converting central Market Access strategies into tailored implementation plans for regions and specific accounts.

• Overseeing and executing reimbursement pathways (e.g., NUB, supplementary payments, individual agreements).

• Proactively identifying and addressing regional market access obstacles.

• Collaborating closely with Key Account Management and various cross-functional teams.

• Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially within hospital management and procurement departments.

• Creating, negotiating, and managing contracts with hospitals, purchasing organizations (GPOs), pharmacies, and specialized wholesalers.

• Engaging in tenders and procurement processes.

• Formulating regional strategies based on AMNOG assessments.

• Aiding in the implementation of complex care models (e.g., inpatient–outpatient transitions, ASV).

• Providing guidance to internal teams on access-related matters.


⛳️ Requirements

• Qualification as a pharmaceutical representative (as per §75 AMG) or equivalent.

• Preferably, a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Several years of demonstrated successful experience in Market Access, Key Account Management, or Contracting, ideally with a focus on the inpatient sector.

• Strong background in contract negotiations with hospitals and/or purchasing organizations.

• Proven expertise in AMNOG processes, NUB procedures, and reimbursement systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of the German healthcare system, particularly regarding inpatient care structures.

• Excellent strategic and analytical abilities with a history of achieving results.

• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills at senior levels.

• High level of personal accountability, decisiveness, and capability to manage complex issues effectively.

• Ability to transform strategic ideas into actionable, effective steps.

• Proficiency in German and good command of English.
