This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead a team conducting Red Team operations that emulate known threat actors.
• Organize and oversee Red Team and penetration testing initiatives.
• Assess the potential impact and likelihood of threat actors achieving their goals within the Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to plan and supervise the execution of assessments.
• Create reports and mitigation strategies tailored for both management and technical audiences.
• Arrange resources for penetration tests covering operating systems, applications, databases, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance information security programs and resources.
• Provide support and guidance to operational teams during enterprise-wide crisis situations.
• Act as both an operator and project manager across various penetration testing offerings.
• Support, manage, and mentor less experienced members of the Red Team.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Red Team/Penetration Testing activities is highly preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership position is highly preferred.
• Participation in the security community, such as speaking at conferences or contributing to tool development, is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with security assessment tools including Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, and Burp Suite.
• In-depth understanding of security methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge of networking components such as routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Comprehensive understanding of firewalls, proxies, mail servers, and web servers.
• Extensive experience in operational support for operating systems, applications, and networks.
• Advanced expertise in Red Teaming, vulnerability testing, penetration testing, and adversary emulation assessments.
• Strong background in automation and scripting for applications and systems.
• Proven experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• Desired certifications include OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, GCIH, GXPN.
• Occasional travel may be necessary (less than 25%).
• Must have legal entitlement to work in Canada.
