IT Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess IT environments to discover areas for enhancement and optimization, including pinpointing and resolving specific challenges.

• Formulate and/or execute technology strategies that align with business goals.

• Provide guidance on software, hardware, and network solutions to improve operational efficiency.

• Assist in the integration, configuration, and deployment of IT systems and applications.

• Maintain system security, data integrity, and adherence to industry regulations.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and propose innovations when suitable.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

• Handle, protect, and disclose patients' protected health information solely in compliance with HIPAA standards.

• Understand and adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.

• Limit access to PHI to the minimum necessary to fulfill assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in IT consulting, systems administration, or a comparable technical position.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely information.

• High integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and focus on results.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Must own a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.

• Must be able to meet the physical and mental demands of the position.
