Senior React Native Developer, Crypto-wallet

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Enhance our established non-custodial crypto wallet by integrating new features.

• Take charge of the core functionalities of the app — including sending/receiving, balances, transaction history, swap/bridge, and on-ramp — while also leading product expansions, such as the crypto card and IBAN experience: payments, subscriptions, physical card integration, and onboarding additional card providers in new regions.

• Manage features from start to finish — encompassing planning, architectural design, implementation, testing, production monitoring, and continuous enhancement based on user feedback.

• Work closely with Product and Design teams to thoroughly comprehend user needs, influence product direction, and collaboratively develop solutions that provide significant value.

• Collaborate with QA and backend engineers to maintain high-quality standards through comprehensive documentation, reproducible testing procedures, and knowledge sharing.

• Participate in a shared on-call rotation — approximately one week each month.

• Communicate effectively and proactively by creating technical documentation and guides for internal teams, and occasionally presenting product demonstrations for support and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of production experience in frontend development, including a minimum of 3 years dedicated to building React Native applications in production (specifically for high-load Fintech/Crypto wallets).

• Significant hands-on experience with crypto is essential — you have worked on production products that involve on-chain transactions, various networks, and real user funds.

• Experience with non-custodial wallets is a strong advantage.

• Proficient in React, React Native, and TypeScript, with a solid testing background (Jest, Detox) and modern tooling — keeping close to the React, React Native, and Expo ecosystem, while bringing ideas to keep our codebase current.

• Comfortable working with Git workflows, GitHub Actions, and automated pipelines for production releases.

• Security-minded — you recognize that in a non-custodial wallet, every code path interacts with real user funds, and you build with this in mind.

• Proficient in technical research: assessing trade-offs, testing hypotheses, and making data-driven architectural choices.

• English proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate level.

• Fluent in Russian.
