Senior R Statistical Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Works collaboratively with internal teams to gather requirements and create processes, tools, and utilities aimed at enhancing quality and efficiency.

• Designs reusable and robust R package code and/or utilities, accompanied by comprehensive training and documentation.

• Encourages technical innovation to advance the development of data analysis and visualization solutions within a clinical data setting.

• Collaborates with study teams to utilize and further refine processes and tools.

• Oversees change management initiatives and provides training on departmental systems and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the industry (Pharma, Biotech, CRO).

• Proficient in using R within regulated clinical development environments.

• Strong skills in R data manipulation and analysis utilizing standard tidyverse packages.

• Excellent R visualization capabilities for static outputs and dashboards.

• Experience in developing R packages, including thorough documentation and testing.

• Experience in writing SAS code, including SAS/MACRO preferred.

• Familiarity with Posit products such as Workbench, Positron, and Connect.

• High attention to detail with a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.

• Understanding of the drug development lifecycle and experience in manipulating, analyzing, and reporting on clinical trials' data.

• Capability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team environment with cross-cultural partners.
