Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain new functionalities for the current Swift-based iOS application.

• Incorporate Python-driven Machine Learning models into the mobile application.

• Design and enhance features related to map functionalities.

• Oversee the transition from the native Swift application to either React Native or Flutter.

• Work in conjunction with the Backend team to establish API agreements.

• Handle application versioning and manage deployments through TestFlight.

⛳️ Requirements

• Established experience in developing and launching production mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Proven track record of creating commercial applications utilizing React Native or Flutter.

• Strong knowledge of Swift, including SwiftUI and UIKit.

• Practical experience with CoreLocation, MapKit, GPS, Geofencing, and map overlays.

• Background in developing offline-first mobile applications using CoreData, SQLite, or similar persistence technologies.

• Experience in integrating Machine Learning models using Core ML, TensorFlow Lite (TFLite), and remote inference services.

• Skilled in designing and integrating REST APIs.

• Comprehensive understanding of the complete mobile application release process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.

• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of technical ownership and accountability.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English, with the capability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
